Library

Your resources for successful study

Visit the Library Website and Catalogue

Our library provides you with a rich resource for study and research. It features an extensive collection of reference material, books, journals, electronic databases, audio-visual materials, standards and copies of examination papers related to Institute programmes. The library also contains 225 study seats, photocopiers, group study rooms, and over 68 computer workstations for student use.

Library staff are always on hand to help you find information and resources for your study. Staff also conduct orientations and teach classes on research techniques, computer databases and the Internet.

If you're a student enrolled at Manukau Institute of Technology, you will be automatically registered as a library borrower for the duration of your programme or course. Borrowing is free, but you must produce your Student ID card when borrowing items or using desk copies.

You'll find the main library in S Block, in the South Campus. There is also a small library at the Manukau School of Visual Arts, in Z Block, and a reference library at the Maritime School (Quay Street, Auckland City).
