Biography:
I am involved in training both sea and shore personal in commercial shipping and logistics. The subjects that I specialize in are Maritime Commercial Practice, Logistics Practice, Marine Insurance, Transport Law and Risk. In addition I am involved in industry training for “Shipping New Zealand”, “The Shippers Council” “Ports of Auckland” and other shipping, logistics companies and marine insurers.
I have many years experience in the shipping Industry both at sea and on shore and have been involved in stevedoring, surveying and marine insurance before moving to the Maritime School.
Now focussing on the continued development “Risk” in Shipping and the Supply Chain. A member of the Maritime Law Association of Australia and New Zealand and the NZ Society of Risk Management.
Recognised by Maritime New Zealand as an examiner for Masters and Mates.
