Plants for Sale

As part of our MIT Certificate in Horticulture Level 4 programme each student is required to propagate and grow on to saleable grades a range of 1000, mostly New Zealand native plants, using a variety of growing techniques. The majority of these plants are used by MIT horticulture students in New Zealand native revegetation and restoration projects in co-operation with local South Auckland councils and landowners, with the balance being available to you at very reasonable prices.

We specialise in New Zealand native plants for coastal sites, revegetation projects; wetland sites, for attracting birds and for feature specimen trees.

There is also a limited quantity of flowering hanging baskets, potted colour, indoor plants, succulents, flowering perennials, herbs, exotic specimen trees and garden shrubs, flower and vegetable seedlings, topiary and standards, bromeliads and others.

For further information about plant sales please contact Dave Bradshaw on 09 968 7679 or mitplantsales@manukau.ac.nz
