Centre for Logistics
The field of logistics is, in many people’s eyes, a new area of study, however, Manukau Institute of Technology has since 1991, successfully delivered courses related to the operation and optimisation of business processes in the areas of transport, distribution, warehousing and international trade.
Rapid developments in technology and more open global trade patterns have enabled a wider public awareness of these topics. The status of logisticians has therefore increased significantly worldwide.
These developments have led to a higher demand for quality education in the logistics field at all levels. In answer to this demand the Institute has now formed the Manukau Institute of Technology Centre for Logistics.
